Every student's journey is unique. Past achievements reflect individual dedication and do not guarantee future results.

Lin Ying-Chu
Founder & Violinist
“Every student is a unique individual. I tailor my teaching to suit each student’s strengths and challenges, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where no child is left behind in their musical journey.”
A graduate of the prestigious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (NUS), Ying-Chu trained under her mentor Qian Zhou, Head of Strings, and studied with world-renowned violinists including Pierre Amoyal, Nam Yun Kim, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Hyo Kang, and Shlomo Mintz. She has supported the Singapore Violin Festival since 2018, collaborating with artists including Midori and Vilmos Szabadi.
More Than Music
Stage Confidence
Regular recitals and performances build the poise and self-assurance that carries into every aspect of life.
Discipline & Focus
The daily practice of mastering an instrument develops concentration, patience, and resilience.
Creative Expression
Music gives children a language beyond words — a way to express emotions and ideas with depth and beauty. In an age of AI, human creativity is the one thing that cannot be replicated.
Character & Growth
The journey of learning music — the breakthroughs and the setbacks — builds grit, humility, and a growth mindset that serves every area of life.
Performances & Events
Our students perform at an annual recital and are prepared for competitions throughout the year. Stage experience is where practice meets purpose.

What Parents Say
Parent Testimonials
“Ms Lin has been teaching Sophie for three years now, and the progress has been remarkable. Sophie passed her ABRSM Grade 4 violin exam with Distinction last year, and more importantly, she genuinely loves playing. The structured approach to practice that Ms Lin introduced has made home practice so much smoother for our family.”
Chen Mei Ling
Parent of Sophie
“We enrolled Arjun for violin lessons with Teacher Ying Chu when he was seven, and we could not be happier. She has an incredible ability to keep young children engaged and motivated. Arjun performed at the Summer Soirée last year and the experience gave him such confidence — not just in music, but in school as well.”
Rajesh Nair
Parent of Arjun
“Iman started piano lessons at Ysaÿe Music Studio after trying two other teachers, and the difference was immediately clear. Ms Lin tailored the lessons to Iman's learning style and within six months Iman was playing pieces she previously thought were too difficult. She is now preparing for her ABRSM Grade 3 exam.”

“We were aiming for DSA and Teacher Ying Chu guided Ethan through the entire preparation process. She helped him choose the right repertoire, worked on his performance confidence, and coached him for the interview component. He received an offer from his first-choice school. We are deeply grateful.”
Lim Boon Kiat
Parent of Ethan
“We were hesitant to commit to violin lessons as Lucas had tried two other instruments before without sticking with them. Teacher Ying-Chu took the time to understand what he needed — short bursts of progress, lots of variety, and goals he could see clearly. Two years later, he passed ABRSM Grade 3 with Merit and asks to practise on his own. We could not have imagined that when we started.”
